i was home alone my mom worked over time tonight and it was the worst . what was i going to eat .? so instead of calling for chinese i call the only one that can make me feel better . Kellan . he has been my best friend since 3rd grade and my boyfriend since the ninth so i know him very well and i knew he loved me and i loved him . " hey i got free cirb you wanna come over .?" " " i cant remember mom is on that cruise and my leg plus i have to watch taylor anyway ." kellan said trying to get up from the couch . " oh yeah what about that party tomorrow you coming .? " i said as i sat on my bed . " no i cant im sorry but taylor is going ." " yeah were going to have so much fun ." we hear from the other line . " get off the phone .! " kellan yells "hold on babe ." " okay. " in the back ground i hear " get over here you person .! " kellan is chasing taylor around the house . " hey im back ." he said out of breath . " okay well anyway im going to go watch tv i'll talk to you later ." " okay bye ." then we both hang u the phone .
the next day i went to the mall with kristen and we got some clothes for the arty and the rest of the week . i dont think i went to sleep until about 2 in the morning on the phone with kellan all night . i like talking to him its fun no one would ever understand . " im so tired ." kristen points out walking towards another store to get a bathing suit . "why what happened .? " " me and robert stayed up all night ." " doing what might i ask .?" i ask her stopping in front of the store . " dont worry about it . well anyway isnt that such a cute top .?" she spots the top out and runs in the store to go look at it . i walked into the store " you know im worried about you . you guys are moving a little too fast . then in the end its your fault and you know you deserved it ." " well yeah . " she looks at her watch and says " we have to go my moms going to be here any minute ." "okay ." so we head out the door . and get into the car . right on time . it was silent in the car until we reached my house . i said bye to kristen and said thank you to kristens mom . i walk into my house just to see my mom laying there sleeping on the couch . i rush upstairs to get ready for the party so when im ready to go home i get there at a decent time .
" hey kellan is taylor ready .?" "yeah he left already . and thanks for after him for me ." " its nothing anything for you . i love you." " i love you too ." " i gotta go to this party now bye ." " remember im just at home doing nothing free crib . bye . " " shit if i could be there ." then he laughs and hangs up the phone .
i get to the party the first person i see is taylor . his smile is so beautiful . i hug him and kiss him on the cheek . " hi is kristen here .?" " i dont know last time i saw her she was with robert and they went somewhere . but i have to talk to you ." "okay ." so he takes my hand and leads me over to the curb and we sit down . " i like you . i really do maybe even more than kellan does ." " taylor please not now you know i love him and to mess that up wont be right ." " what do you think about me .?" " i think that your a really nice guy your really cute and any girls would be lucky if she had you ." " but i dont want any girl . i want you ." " taylor you cant and you know that . " i put my hand on his and looked straight into his eyes . " im sorry ." "yeah im sorry too . that i ever liked you . im sorry im trouble ." he started to get up but i pulled him back down . " dont say that dont put yourself down because of me . " " if i cant have you i cant have anyone else . " " dont worry your going to find someone even better than me . " " no one is better than you . can i tell something .?" " yeah what is it .?" " i listen to every single conversation that you and kellan have . you dont deserve him you deserve me . will you give me a chance .?" i sat there quite i couldnt say anything it was all stuck in my throat ." see this is why i shouldnt of told you . bye nina see you soon . im leaving ." i wouldnt let him go like that and i couldnt let go of his hand he was so warm ." wait ." he tried to get up but i dont think he wanted to leave me alone on curb he was going to take me inside " i will give you a chance just dont blow it . " i couldnt believe what i was saying . i was digging my own grave deeper and deeper with every word . he looked at me in my eyes and smiled then gave me a kiss on my lips . he was better than kellan .
the next day i went with my mom to her job and to my surprise taylor was at the park across the street . so i told my mom to let me out of the car by the park and she did . i walked over to taylor and his friend sam and then taylor got up and met me half way there . " what are you doing here .?" " i was just about to ask you the same question ." he got closer to me and started to put his arms around my waist . " my friend lives around here so i come everyday and hang out ." " well its kindah far away from home . you have to go back and take care of your brother ." " he will be fine . you wanna come hang out with us .?" " yeah sure . i have to go tell my mom ." " i'll come with you ." then we both started walking towards my moms job . " wait here. " i told him to wait at the door and walked in . " hey mom you want anything from the store .?" she types on her computer drawing away to talk to me . " no thanks im fine ." she glances at the door . " okay so can i get some money so i can eat something .?" " you better be careful . in the end its your fault and you know you deserved it . " " okay . i'll try ." " no im serious ." she grabs my hand and gives me a 10 " make the best of it ." " okay ill try ."
taylor grabs my hand and we start walking through the door and i turn around to say bye to my mom . she has her worried face look on her face and it makes me scared . i walk slowly towards his friends thinking about what my mom said and fell like i heard it before . ' taylor can i talk to you .?" " yeah sure ." we get across the street and he pulls me to the side where the gate was . " please dont tell me your re-think ing about it ." " well yeah im sorry . but i dont want you to get hurt ." dont worry i'll be fine i just dont know about you ." " ill be okay . i guess ." " okay ." then he pulled me closer and kissed just like the day before . my phone rang it was kellan . " hello . " "yeah my mom signed me up for a summer program by her job so i wont be over there for like a week ." i lied to him . i had to ." yeah i know she always does this . " " aww i wish i could be there we would have so much fun ." " okay . love you too . bye " then i hang up . " what did he want .?" " he was just checking up on me dont worry ." "but i have one thing to ask you to do though ." " what is it .?" " can you please stop telling him you love him .? just for me ." " no ." " okay i understand ." then we walked back to his friends and hung out the whole day . his friends didnt really want to be bothered with us so they walk ahead of us and payed us no attention . i can honestly say it was the best day so far and taylor is making me fall in love with him plus its working . his friend sam invited me to his barbeque with his family and i said yes cause i knew taylor would be there .
the next day we were having a good time i took some food t my mom and had fun with taylor . next thing you know taylor sees kellan walking towards us . taylor puts down his food and tells sam thanks for the food and grabs my hand . " wait . whats wrong .?" " turn around ." i turned around and saw him and turned back and stared him in his eyes not moving . " c'mon we gotta go ." he pulled my hand and we started to run . i try not to look back at kellan but i do and tears start running down my face . and i suddenly stop prepared for the worst . what happens next will determine my future .
it was the worst . kellan started yelling at taylor . then said some horrible things about his mom and dad . taylor got really close to him angry and kellan punched him . i was in the middle of all of this . they started to fight and i couldnt stop it . i knew that nothing good could come of this . i nearly got hit until sam came over and helped to break them up . i sat there crying and couldnt do anything . sam helped me up and took me to my mom and i hugged her then cried in her arms until i fell asleep .
